Beloved Brethren,

As we celebrate Easter this year a sacred season that commemorates the priceless sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind through His death, resurrection, and ascension I urge us to look beyond mere liturgical observance or ceremonial tradition.

Easter stands as the greatest proclamation of divine intervention in human history the eternal triumph of life over death, light over darkness, righteousness over sin, and hope over despair in a troubled world.

The Lord Jesus Christ has risen, and by this truth, every grave loses its hold. Every despair is met with hope, and every situation buried under the weight of hardship is given the promise of restoration.

On this sacred and glorious occasion, we are called to reflect deeply on the profound mystery of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ the cornerstone of our faith and the ultimate expression of God’s love for humanity.

We live in times marked by uncertainty, moral challenges, and increasing global tensions from conflicts between nations to internal crises that continue to impact economies and societies worldwide. Yet, in the midst of these realities, the message of Easter remains our unshakable anchor.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is God’s eternal assurance that darkness shall never overcome light, and that even in suffering, victory is assured in Christ.

This season, therefore, is a call to hope in the face of hopelessness. It speaks life into every dead situation whether in our personal lives, our nation, or across the nations of the world.

This assurance of hope was recently demonstrated in our nation when members of our Church, alongside other Christians, who were abducted in Kaduna State, were released safely through the mercy of God, the fervent prayers of the faithful, and the responsive efforts of relevant authorities. To God alone be all the glory.

To our beloved nation, I say: this is not a time to lose heart. Rather, it is a time for sober reflection, repentance, and a collective return to the enduring values of righteousness, justice, and compassion. True national healing will not come solely through systems or institutions, but through transformed hearts aligned with divine truth.

I therefore call on all faithful members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O, all Mother Churches of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria and indeed all Christians across Nigeria and around the world, to embrace the true essence of this season:

  • Walk in love
  • Uphold righteousness
  • Pursue peace
  • Recommit to a life of holiness and service unto God

Let us also rise as intercessors, standing in the gap through prayer for our nation and the global community.

Let this Easter mark a new beginning a renewal of faith, a revival of purpose, and a restoration of our commitment to God’s Kingdom. As Christ rose in glory, may every dead situation in our lives receive divine resurrection power.

I urge us all to be ambassadors of hope, unity, and godliness in our communities. Let our lives reflect the light of Christ, so that through us, the world may behold His glory.

May the power of the resurrection bring healing to our land, peace to our nation, and joy to every household.

Happy Easter to you all. He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
