In a ceremony steeped in tradition and spiritual significance, Most Senior Special Apostle Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo was officially installed as the 6th Baba Aladura of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide. The event, which took place amidst the serene slopes of Mount Horeb on Wednesday, the 1st of May, 2024, drew notable figures from both within the church and the wider community..
The ascension of Most Senior Special Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo to the revered position of Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church signifies a pivotal moment in the history of the Church, ushering in a new era of leadership and guidance for its global congregation.
Amidst jubilant praise and worship, congregants affirmed Most Senior Special Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, recognizing in him the embodiment of divine wisdom, compassion, and spiritual insight. The presence of five esteemed Baba Aladuras, including the Olori of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification, His Most Eminence Pro. Dr. S. A. Alao J.Pil., who performed the anointment added to the solemnity and grandeur of the occasion.
His Most Eminence, Pro. Dr. S. A Alao J.Pil., charged the new Baba Aladura to embrace his role with strength and courage, highlighting, he is the 6th Olori, and Most Senior Special Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo is also the 6th Baba Aladura of Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church.
The esteemed members of the Board of Trustees congregated to fulfill their sacred duties. Each member performed their rites, which symbolized commitment to the Church’s values and principles. Senior Special Apostle Segun Fabunmi SAN led the oath taken. Other member of the Board of Trustees present are Most Senior Special Apostle G. O. Kassim, Most Senior Special Apostle T. I. Adewoye, Senior Special Apostle P. T. Okene and Senior Special Apostle Remi Awode took the solemn duty of reading the Bible lesson. All Conferences Supervisors; Sp. Ap. Prophet Joel O. Adeniran – Conference Supervising Prophet, Sp. Ap. Pastor Fola Onafuye – Conference Supervising Pastor, Sp. Ap. Evangelist Michael O. Adeshina – Conference Supervising Evangelist, Sp. Ap. Teacher Babatunde Oisamoje – Conference Supervising Teacher, Director of Mission – Sp. Ap. Pastor Ademola Popoola, including heads of Units/bands were present to show their full support for the newly installed Baba Aladura. District Chairmen and Senior District Secretaries also paid their homage and pledge their allegiance to the new Spiritual Father. Notable dignitaries, including HRM Oba Francis Olusola Alao, Olugbo of Igbon, Oyo State, and HRM Oba Micheal Odunayo Ajayi Arowotawaya II graced the event, underscoring its significance within both the religious and broader societal context.
The Boys and Girls Brigade Nigeria lowered the old flag.
Handing over the new flag, Baba Aladura Rev’d Pro. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo conveyed the aspirations and determination of the Church under his stewardship. With solemnity and resolve, the Secretary General then proceeded to handover the new flag to the Boys and Girls Brigade Nigeria which flag it off, which now stands as the symbol of a revitalized and forward-looking Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church.
In a heartfelt expression of gratitude and commitment, the newly installed Baba Aladura, Pro. Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, extended his thanks to the Almighty God for his continued grace and to the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church for entrusting him with the esteemed position. “I am profoundly grateful to the Almighty God for sparing my life until this moment and for the opportunity to serve in this capacity,” stated Baba Aladura, Pro. Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo. “I am equally humbled and appreciative of the Church for counting me worthy to fit into this position of spiritual leadership.”
In his pledge to the congregation and the wider C&S Movement Church, Baba Aladura Pro. Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo affirmed his dedication to advancing the mission and vision of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church. “I solemnly pledge to continue the good work of moving our beloved Church forward which the Late Baba Aladura Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye started,” he declared. “It is my firm commitment to ensure that the C&S Movement Church continues to march on, spreading its message of faith and love to all corners of the globe.”
With these words, Baba Aladura Pro. Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo set forth his intentions to lead the Church with steadfastness, vision, and unwavering dedication, as the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church embarks on a new chapter under his guidance.
