By Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O
22nd January 2026

Esteemed Members of the Press, Distinguished Seraphs, and Believers Worldwide,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We offer all glory, honour, and thanksgiving to God Almighty, as the Holy Scripture instructs us to give thanks in all circumstances.

The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O has received with profound sorrow and heavy hearts the distressing news of the attack and kidnapping of some of our cherished Church members in the Northern region of Nigeria. This incident transpired in the community of Kurmin Wali within the Iburu District of Afogo, Kajuru Local Government, Kaduna.

On Sunday, 18th January 2026, two of our Churches, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Wali in Kajuru Local Government, were attacked by bandits. During this attack, one hundred and fifty one (151) of our members and twenty six (26) members of the ECWA Church were kidnapped while worshipping during the Sunday Worship Service.

This tragic event is a deeply painful experience that grieves the hearts of worshippers, families, and the entire body of Christ.

Our Spiritual Father and Supreme Head (Olori), His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo JP, FNACM, DDM, GCOMS, strongly condemns this act of violence and lawlessness.

At this critical juncture, we call upon the Lord God Almighty, the God of divine intervention, and the God of our father Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase, to arise and secure the release of our abducted members.

Furthermore, we urge the Federal Government and the Kaduna State Government to fulfil their constitutional responsibility to protect lives and property.

Members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O shall remain hopeful and steadfast in faith.

Prophet (Dr.) Amb. Anthony Olusesan Samaye, JP, FCIHRM, MNIM, DIIHP
