Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has commiserated with the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Movement worldwide on the death of our dear father, The Spiritual Father and Chairman of Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O; Baba Aladura Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye.
The Governor’s condolence message was contained in a statement signed by his chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.
The statement reads: “On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, the Governor sends his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the spiritual leader, the people of Omu Aran, and the C&S Movement family worldwide on the sad event.
“The governor said the late Baba Aladura made tremendous impacts as a religious leader with tentacles across the world and significant contributions to the wellbeing of his people.
“He prays God to grant comfort to everyone who mourns the late spiritual leader.”

Bishop Oyedepo condoles Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church on the passage of the Spiritual Father, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye.
The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church also known as Winner’s Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has condoled the immediate family and members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide on the death of the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Church, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye. Bishop Oyedepo who paid a condolence visit to the residence of the Spiritual Father on Monday, 13th November, 2023 in Ilorin described his death as a “glorious departure” urging the family and members of the Church to be strong at this period. He thanked God for the life of Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye describing it as “a life well spent in the vineyard”.
Bishop Oyedepo noted that the Spiritual Father would be greatly missed in view of his fatherly advice and commitment to the propagation of the gospel. Baba Aladura Prophet Samuel ADefila Abidoye died on Sunday, 12th November. 2023 in Ilorin at a ripe age.

Expressed his heartfelt condolences for the late Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, widely known as Baba Aladura, Spiritual Father and Chairman of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement. The news of Abidoye’s passing was officially disclosed on Sunday evening by the Secretary General of the Church, Special Apostle Ademola Odetundun.

Prophet Abidoye departed this world at the venerable age of 103. Obi’s online post conveyed his grief, stating, “I have just received the sad news of the passing on of the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, at the age of 103.
