The historic program of the day was divided into two parts.

Part I: was the Retirement Service of the outgoing Supreme Head (Olórì), His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Solomon Adegboyega Alao JPil, A.C.I.I; A.I.I.N; F.INST D.; FIAMN; QIAM; D.D.

Part II was the Ordination, Robing, and Enthronement of his successor, His Grace Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JPil, FNACM, D.D.M.

of the New Supreme Head (Olori)

CHERUBIM & SERAPHIM UNIFICATION CHURCH OF NIGEIRA

.A Year of Double Glory: Isaiah 61:7 Fulfilled

It was indeed a year of Double Glory, in line with the 2025 Theme of the Year for the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O, Double Glory (Isaiah 61:7). The Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O, His Grace Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JPil FNACM, D.D.M, became a living testimony of this divine promise as he was ordained and enthroned as the 5th Supreme Head (Olórì) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria.

The Proclamation and Presentation

The service commenced with the Proclamation, read by the Unification Chief Legal Adviser, Sup. Ap. Wale Taiwo SAN, in line with the Constitution of the Church (Articles 6, 7 & 11 of the 1990 Constitution). This officially confirmed the appointment of His Grace, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JPil, as the 5th Supreme Head (Olórì) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria.

The Ordination Procession Hymn (FE 657/SE 631 – Mo ti ṣe ìlérí Jesu) was rendered, after which a representative of the Ecclesiastical Council presented the Ordainee to the Church, affirming his suitability and divine call to this sacred office.

The Oath of Office

His Grace, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo, then took the sacred Oath of Office before God and the congregation, pledging:

  • To faithfully execute the duties of the Supreme Head (Olórì).
  • To preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the Church.
  • To uphold the precepts of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria.
  • To serve God and the Church in truth, guided by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

After the oath, he duly signed the document before the Chief Legal Adviser.

Robing, Anointing, and Symbols of Office

All the other activities of the ordination service, including the Robing, Anointing, Presentation of the Cap and Mitre, the Holy Bible, the Staff of Shepherd, the Constitution, and the Certificate of Ordination, were solemnly conducted by the Supreme Head (Olórì) Emeritus, His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Solomon Adegboyega Alao JPil, A.C.I.I; A.I.I.N; F.INST D.; FIAMN; QIAM; D.D.

The Ordainee was robed in holy garments symbolizing priestly authority, anointed with oil, and adorned with the Cap and Mitre of Office. Prophetic declarations of wisdom, knowledge, and divine protection were pronounced over him.

The Holy Bible and the Staff of Shepherd were then presented, signifying his mandate to feed and guide the flock of Christ. He also received the Constitution of the Church and the Certificate of Ordination, officially confirming his appointment.

Immediately after, there was a Gala Parade in honor of the new Supreme Head (Olórì), His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JPil FNACM, DDM. He was then formally installed on his seat of authority, symbolizing the beginning of his reign.

Sermon and Holy Communion

The day’s sermon was delivered by His Eminence Baba Aladura E. O. Owomoyela, who charged the Church to embrace unity, holiness, and obedience to God’s call. This was followed by the administration of the Holy Communion, a solemn reminder of Christ’s covenant with His Church.

THE 5TH SUPREME (OLORI) OF C&S UNIFICATION CHURCH OF NIGERIA 

The new Olórì, in his speech read by Senior Special Apostle Prophet Dr. Anthony Olusesan Samaye JP, MNIM, FCIHRM, DIIHP, the Secretary General of C&S Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O, expressed gratitude to God Almighty and acknowledged the sacrifices of the founding fathers who labored to preserve the Cherubim and Seraphim fold. He emphasized his role not as a ruler but as a servant leader, dedicated to unity, holiness, and service.

He reaffirmed the Church’s Vision “to raise a united, disciplined, and Christ-centered C&S Church that glorifies God and shines as a beacon of holiness and service”  and its Mission “to foster unity, uphold sound doctrine, promote holiness, advance education, and reposition the C&S Church as a strong global voice of evangelism and transformation.”

He further outlined 10 Core Values

Unveiling a Ten-Point Agenda

The Olórì highlighted:

Establish a unified brand identity (symbols, hymnals, uniforms, and liturgy).

Publish standardized hymn book, prayer book, Daily Devotional and catechism.

Reaffirm core biblical doctrines, removing unscriptural practices.

Adopt a common liturgy for unity in worship.

Organize regular training for clergy and laity.

Develop succession frameworks for leadership continuity.

Strengthen the disciplinary council for moral and doctrinal accountability.

Create reconciliation frameworks for peaceful resolution of conflicts.

MOSES ORIMOLADE UNIVERSITY (MOU)

Getting operational license and approval for MOU.

Ensure immediate commencement of academic programmes. Begin with less capital intensive but relevant programmes e.g. faculties of Theology, Education, Social & Management Sciences, Agriculture etc.

Seek partnerships with international institutions.

Launch Revival and Evangelism Campaigns.

The 5 fold Ministry: Ensure that all the 5-Fold Ministries operate to

complement one another for the purpose for which God has called them and not working at cross purposes which is the vogue today –

Ephesians 4:11-14.

Strengthen Diaspora missions and youth evangelistic movements.

Establish mentorship and empowerment programme.

Involve women and youth in leadership and evangelism initiatives.

Provide scholarships, health programme, and poverty alleviation schemes.

Speak prophetically and responsibly on national/global issues.

Raising enlightenment on moderation and control of excessive and damaging publications.

Develop official church media platforms (TV, radio, online).

Digitalize administration, training, and outreach.

Implement transparent financial systems.

Establish sustainable revenue streams and investments for growth.

The Implementation Strategy

Will run in three phases over three years:

Doctrinal Harmonization and University Launch

SECOND PHASE

Review TextBranding and Empowerment Programs

THIRD PHASE

Review TextGlobal Expansion, Institutional Strengthening, and Financial Sustainability.

In conclusion

The Olórì declared this as a prophetic turning point, calling on every denomination, and members to join hands in building a united and vibrant Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria.

Thanksgiving and Closing

The program progressed into a joyful session of Thanksgiving, as members and leaders gave glory to God for the historic transition. This was followed by the Announcements, Vote of Thanks, and the Closing Hymn, bringing the momentous day to a glorious end.

A Glorious Day

It was truly a glorious day, as members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide came from all parts of the country and beyond to witness the great ceremony. Coaster buses brought in delegates from across Nigeria. Senior District Secretaries and Chairmen were fully represented, alongside the International Youth President, Conference Supervisors, the Mission Director, staff of the International Secretariat, and members of the Board of Trustees of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O. All gathered to pay respect and show solidarity to their Chairman, who was being ordained and enthroned as the Supreme Head (Olórì).

 

A New Era for the Church

To God alone be the glory!

The congregation erupted with joy as bands played and members celebrated this historic transition. With gratitude to God, the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria entered a new era of leadership, as His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JPil FNACM, DDM, assumes the sacred office with a divine mandate to unite, strengthen, and advance the Church in faith, love, and spiritual growth.
